About the role
Providing expert legal counsel on complex employment law issues, the full-time California Licensed Senior Labor Counsel will advise leadership on regulatory compliance, manage legal risks, and collaborate with HR on policy development and training initiatives in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare, draft, and review complex legal documents while overseeing the work of junior legal professionals
Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze case law to inform business strategies and decisions
Develop and implement legal strategies to address regulatory risks and guide senior stakeholders on critical legal matters
Required qualifications:
Minimum five (5) years of experience in employment, labor, or employee benefits law
Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a practicing lawyer
Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
State Bar License from any state where the organization operates
