About the role
Inbound Business Development Representative Profound Technologies is seeking an organized, responsive, and detail-oriented Inbound Business Development Representative to help manage and develop incoming sales opportunities. This person will respond to and qualify inbound leads, maintain accurate CRM records, coordinate sales assignments and handoffs, and provide consistent follow-up so viable opportunities are not lost. The role will also support partner prospecting and other business development initiatives. Responsibilities Respond to inbound web leads, phone calls, live chats, manufacturer leads, and other inquiries. Research and qualify prospective customers based on their needs, timing, and overall fit. Maintain accurate contact, company, lead, and activity records in the CRM.Track lead assignments and coordinate clear, timely handoffs to sales representatives. Manage ongoing follow-up with new, unresponsive, and previously cold leads. Monitor active leads and help address stalled activity or incomplete next steps. Expand promising accounts by identifying additional contacts and decision-makers. Support manufacturer lead programs through research, administration, tracking, and reporting. Assist with partner prospecting, including account research, initial outreach, and meeting generation. Help improve lead-intake, qualification, assignment, and follow-up processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. Ability to follow established processes and maintain accurate records independently. Comfortable managing multiple leads, assignments, and follow-up schedules. Experience with CRM systems, spreadsheets, sales support, customer service, or prospecting is preferred. Experience with Hub Spot, Apollo, or Linked In Sales Navigator is helpful but not required. Dependable, collaborative, curious, and comfortable learning new systems and processes.
