About the role
- Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies
- Use work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical manuals
- Potentially assembling aerospace cables/harnesses to specifications and/or working with composites
- Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment
- Be a student enrolled in a community college or technical trade school, or be working toward a manufacturing certification or related coursework
- Be available to work full time for at least 10 weeks
- Ability to work with hand tools, often requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Able to read, interpret and record measurements
- Available to work 2nd Shift (3:30PM - 1:00AM)US Citizen
- J-STD-001 CertificationIPC-A-610 CertificationIPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
- Cables and Wire Harness experience
- Soldering experience
- Composites coursework
