About the Role: Join an applied AI engineering team building systems that change how knowledge work gets done at a growing AI-powered accounting software company. You will work closely with teams across the business to design and deliver agent-driven workflows that handle complex work from end to end.
What You'll Do: Build and deploy AI agents that take on meaningful work across business workflows. Develop the infrastructure, interfaces, and operating approaches that help people and agents work together effectively. Work directly with internal teams and clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and improve solutions. Take ownership of projects from problem discovery through launch, ensuring the systems work reliably in practice. Understand the underlying workflows and data to inform system design, agent behavior, and product decisions.
What We're Looking For: Typically, 5 to 15 years of relevant experience, including experience as a founder, founding engineer, or software engineer at a startup. Demonstrated experience building AI agents and working with multiple agent SDKs and LLM tools beyond basic chatbots. Strong expertise in at least one full-stack programming language, with experience in TypeScript or Python relevant to the role. Experience collaborating directly with clients and internal teams to gather feedback and iterate on software. Strong systems thinking, initiative, and ownership of outcomes in ambiguous problem spaces.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $150,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LocationRemote within the United States, with New York, New York as the primary location.
