About the role

Overview: The Office of Communications and Marketing at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for a StudentVideoProducer! The ideal candidate will be a creative and innovativevideostoryteller with an eye for visual detail. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the production of promotional/news stories andvideos in support of the university’s brand and mission. This is a 10-15 hour per week paidpositionand can serve as a for-creditinternship if needed.
Responsibilities: Creatively shoot and edit content to tell compelling stories.
Assist onvideoshoots through equipment setup and b-roll shooting. Work with OCM videoproducers to advance promotion of the university throughvideoon multiple platforms. Work with OCMsocial media team to create engaging content for broad audiences. Organize and distribute requested media clips to campus partners.
Qualifications: Enrolled student at Auburn University
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be able to work 10-15 hours per week. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. Must be able to shoot and edit video. Must be able to produce content within given deadlines. Desired: Proficient using Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus). Eye for detail. Good time-management skills. Why Work at Auburn?
