About the role

Administrative Assistant Generator Supercenter is seeking a highly organized and responsible Administrative Assistant to join our growing organization. In this position, you will perform clerical tasks, answer phones, and help around the office. Other duties will include assisting the Service Dept. with preparing documents, organizing files, managing existing documents, and generally keeping the office organized, tidy, and running smoothly. Key competencies and requirements include verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, problem analysis and problem-solving, customer service orientation, organizational skills, attention to detail, good judgment, adaptability, teamwork, stress tolerance and resilience, and the ability to multi-task and perform various clerical duties. Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in relevant computer applications, required language proficiency, knowledge of customer service, and good data entry and typing skills. Duties and responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling service calls and maintenance for generators, dispatching field technicians efficiently based on location and availability, communicating with customers regarding appointment times, service updates, and inquiries, maintaining accurate service records and scheduling logs, assisting with incoming service requests via phone and email, working closely with service managers and technicians to ensure smooth operations, providing exceptional customer service and follow up on completed jobs, and being organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Mandatory on-call availability during hurricane season, phone etiquette, and team collaboration & cross-department support are also required.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
