QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent Prior patient care, healthcare, or medical experience preferred Current California-certified Patient Care Technician/Hemodialysis Technician certification Current CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent patient care Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare teamKEY RESPONSIBILITIESInitiate, monitor, and terminate hemodialysis treatments under RN supervision Prepare dialysis equipment, dialyzers, and delivery systems according to established procedures Monitor dialysis equipment for proper functioning and report concerns promptly Assess assigned patients before, during, and after treatment and report changes in condition to the RNProvide safe, compassionate, and respectful patient care Document patient care and treatment information accurately Draw ordered blood samples from arterial or venous bloodlines as directed Perform clotting times during treatment or as needed and report results to the RNPerform appropriate cleaning and disinfection of dialysis equipment and treatment areas Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients Follow all facility policies, procedures, infection-control practices, and safety standards Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining an organized treatment area Participate in staff meetings, in-service education, and required training programs Perform other patient-care and clinical duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing❤️ JOIN OUR TEAMAt San Dimas Dialysis Center, Inc our patients are at the heart of everything we do.
