About the role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Head Certified Athletic Trainer at Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio, TX This contract position offers: Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pmA chance to serve our military No evening, weekend or holiday responsibilities
Job Requirements:
The Head Certified Athletic Trainer will have the following requirements: A Master's degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) accredited ATEP or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University within the field of Athletic TrainingA minimum of 10 years' experience in diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal injuries as an AT in high school, college, professional sports setting.3 or more years overseeing a sports medicine or AT program of 3 or more ATs and/or strength and conditioning coaches Published at least 1 peer reviewed original research article as an author/investigator Certified by NATABOC or NATA BLS by AHA or American Red Cross Unrestricted Texas State License
