About the role
Reviewing and assessing condominium project documentation, the full-time Mortgage Condo Desk Underwriter will determine eligibility and compliance with agency and investor guidelines while working remotely.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing condo questionnaires, budgets, insurance, legal documents, and project approvals in collaboration with operations, sales, and underwriting teams
Ensuring timely and accurate decisions based on underwriting standards and risk assessment
Utilizing strong analytical skills to navigate a fast-paced environment effectively
Required qualifications:
3+ years of previous condo project review experience
Expert-level knowledge of condo project reviews and underwriting standards
Strong understanding of risk assessment within the mortgage industry
