Buffkin/Baker is proud to partner with Children's Nebraska, the state’s only freestanding children’s hospital and largest pediatric specialty network, in their search for a Director of Acute Behavioral Health.
Children’s recently opened its innovative Behavioral Health & Wellness Center, bringing together a 24/7 Crisis Assessment Center, inpatient psychiatry, partial hospitalization programs, outpatient services, behavioral health urgent care, and integrated primary care under one roof.
They are seeking a Director of Acute Behavioral Health to provide operational and clinical leadership across the acute behavioral health continuum. This leader will help build infrastructure, drive quality and patient outcomes, support multidisciplinary teams, and shape one of the Midwest’s most progressive pediatric behavioral health programs.
The ideal candidate will bring:
Strong behavioral health experience
A collaborative, people-first leadership style
A passion for trauma-informed, patient-centered care and program development
Clinical credibility as an RN or LCSW leader
Demonstrated progressive leadership experience
