What You'll Do:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, entering them into our ERP system
  • Prepare products for storage and shipment
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
  • Perform light marketing of IBVI's BSC capabilities and products while delivering product to customers

As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk and delivery driver at IBVI's Joint Base Charleston BSC, you'll unload deliveries, carefully inspect items, log them into our ERP system, and deliver products directly to customers on the base. You'll spend time organizing inventory in the warehouse, labeling products, and preparing outgoing shipments with care. Whether you're operating a pallet jack or forklift or updating records, your work supports our mission to employ individuals who are blind or visually impaired. It's a fast-paced, hands-on role where attention to detail and teamwork make a real impact every day.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
  • 13 years of relevant experience (warehouse or logistics preferred)
  • Must possess valid driver's license and operate company vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Operate a pallet jack and forklift, and stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Computer proficiency and experience using inventory systems, Microsoft Outlook and ExcelMust be able to pass federal criminal background check and drug screen, and base security requirements
