About the role

Steven Douglas is partnering with a client that is in search of a Financial Reporting Consultant for a long term, 1 year engagement to support an ERP implementation. This position will be remote based with some in-office requirement in Houston required for testing cycles.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead consolidation and governance of reports across multiple workstreams
  • Develop, test, and maintain financial and operational reports throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage reporting across the entire ERP, including projects, fixed assets, general ledger, and accounts payable
Requirements:
  • Strong accounting/finance background with GAAP knowledgeFERC regulatory experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion reporting tools including OTBI, SDI, BI Publisher, and dashboards
  • Experience with ERP implementations, ideally with Oracle Fusion
  • Process improvement experience related to accounting or ERP processes
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Tech-savvy with ability to work on both transactional and strategic design aspects
  • Hands-on experience with transactional accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable
  • Ability to understand current processes and translate them into future system designs
