Role Overview: As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of a segment of the company's product portfolio, managing and strategizing its lifecycle from conception through to market delivery. You will define the product\'s value proposition by deeply understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Your role will be pivotal in steering product features, benefits, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with customer demands and market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough market analysis to shape competitive product strategies and portfolio management. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, R&D, and operations to capture the voice of the customer, pinpoint strategic product necessities, assess product concept viability, and craft detailed product requirements. Prioritize product development initiatives, balancing potential revenue, strategic significance, resource availability, and compatibility with the existing product lineup. Benchmark competitive offerings, devising sales and marketing tools that highlight our unique advantages. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements, adapting product development strategies accordingly. Facilitate strategic discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure product features and strategies meet market demands. Support the creation and upkeep of comprehensive product documentation and promotional materials in collaboration with various internal teams. Serve as the leading advocate and spokesperson for the company's products, both within the organization and in the broader market.
Qualifications: A Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Business, with an MBA preferred. At least 1+ year of experience in Product Management, ideally within the HVAC-R sector or related fields. Proven track record in New Product Development, demonstrating effective collaboration with R&D teams. Strong foundation in HVAC-R, with a preference for experience in residential, commercial, or industrial applications. Exceptional presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with technical experts, customers, and business leaders. Competency in interpreting mechanical, electrical, and architectural documents, including blueprints, specifications, and HVAC equipment data.
