About the role
Now Hiring: Virtual Sign Language Interpreter Cross Country Education is seeking a Virtual Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide remote interpreting services to students across multiple grade levels. This is a full-time opportunity with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.
Location: Virtual / Remote
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay: $40/hr based on experience (W-2)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide virtual sign language interpretation services for students in educational settings Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, staff, and other school personnel Accurately interpret spoken communication into sign language and signed communication into spoken language Support students across a variety of ages and grade levels Maintain professional standards of confidentiality and communication Collaborate with school staff to support an accessible and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Active Georgia license required Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) certification required Experience providing interpreting services in a school or educational setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to provide reliable virtual services throughout the school day Why This Role?
