Temporary Document Control Clerk
Location: North Houston
Pay Rate: $18.00$22.00/hour, based on assignment
Schedule: MondayThursday, 8:00 AM4:00 PM
Hours: 30 paid hours per week
Assignment Length: Approximately 2 months, with potential extension up to 6 months
Employment Type: Temporary Position Overview Our client is seeking 12 Temporary Document Control Clerks to assist with a document management project. Depending on business needs and individual skill set, assignments may focus on high-volume scanning, electronic filing and typing, or a combination of both. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with electronic files, and has strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities: Depending on assignment, responsibilities may include:
  • Operate a high-volume scanner to convert paper records into electronic files
  • Review scanned PDFs for quality and accuracy
  • Accurately name, classify, and upload electronic files to the company server
  • Organize electronic records according to established filing and naming standards
  • Verify files are properly organized and meet document control requirements
  • Maintain accurate productivity reports
  • Perform data entry and typing as needed
  • Assist with other document management duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage electronic records
  • Comfortable working with repetitive, detail-oriented tasks
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute for electronic filing/typing assignments
  • Ability to successfully complete an in-person typing test prior to the start date for typing assignments
  • Reliable and dependable with strong attendance
