We maintain a fine lineup of world-class products, and even more importantly, a strong team of world-class people.Position Summary:We are looking for a full-time customer service-oriented service representative. As a CDL Operator (CDL Delivery Driver Trainee), you will drive a CDL truck and/or tractor-trailer along an established route to deliver products to customers. Duties include restocking and rotating our products while putting away delivery loads at assigned accounts, establish, and maintain positive relationships with customers and accounts, resolve service complaints and special customer requests.IMPORTANTAs a new CDL Driver with Hensley, you will begin your career in training as a CDL Operator (CDL Delivery Trainee) and start as an hourly non-exempt (eligible for overtime) employee. The training period is typically 30-90 days but may vary based on individual performance and training progress.Upon successfully completing the training period, you'll be promoted to a CDL Delivery Driver role and be assigned to a route. Additionally, you will transition to an exempt salary (ineligible for overtime) position. With your salary, you will also be eligible for various incentive programs, including a monthly safety bonus and weekly performance bonuses.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Performs a pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection as required by AZDOT.Verifies product load-out prior to leaving plant, then drives to deliver product to customer's place of business, collects money and checks from customers, makes change, records transactions on customer receipt and obtains customer signature on receipt acknowledging pickup or delivery.Endorses all checks from accounts and keeps monies received in a safe, secure place.Work with Operations Leadership to service accounts; greet customers, refill/rebuild backstock, shelves and displays; prefill and build displays for weekly ad set-upPlaces product in the appropriate place at the account, picks up empty containers/kegs or beer as instructed or required as part of the daily delivery procedure.Ensures rotation of back stock and displays during delivery.Makes suggestions to meet customer's needs and emphasizes selling points of product.Listens to and resolves customer complaints.Upon returning to the warehouse, verifies load-in and reconciles monies received with product sold.Communicates with management to report competitive activity on route.Check inbox daily for invoices, memos, or other pertinent company information.Maintains proper maintenance and cleanliness of all Operational equipment.Follows safety protocol and training while always maintaining safety measuresRequired Skills and Experience:Must be at least 19 years of age or olderMaintain a current/valid Arizona Commercial Driver's LicenseMust have a clean driving recordGood communication skills and cheerful dispositionExcellent customer serviceMust be able to work well with othersAbility to interact with diverse personalitiesAbility to read code dates proficientlyFrequently required to lift and/or move up to (50) lbs. for package product and up to (165) lbs. for keg productMust be able to work holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from workMust have a cell phone with data capability, we will provide cell phone allowancePrevious beverage industry experience is helpful, but not necessaryHensley Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plus EAP, 401K, Tuition ReimbursementPTO - Paid time offSafe Ride Home- Cab ride or UBER reimbursement
