Duties: Under direction of the Supervisor I, the incumbent performs complex analytical work on a wide variety of consultative and analytical administrative duties for assigned units. The incumbent is expected to exercise considerable independent judgment in making decisions and take action in accordance with Government Code, State laws, and departmental policies and procedures for the Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Headquarters (HQ). This position requires the incumbent maintain regular, consistent, and predictable attendance; exercise good judgment and tact; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; establish and maintain the cooperation of others; consult with and advise management and staff on a wide variety of subject matter; plan, organize, prioritize and analyze information from multiple sources; maintain and apply knowledge of Departmental and State policies and procedures.
