Certifications: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
Education Requirements: Michigan state licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
Experience Requirements: 2+ years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience.
Location Requirements: Michigan RN license required.
Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Submission Requirements: Current skills checklist pertinent to PACU, two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years, active Michigan license, and active BLS and ACLS certifications. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, providing direct nursing care such as medication adminstration and treatments, responding to alarms, assisting with transfers, evaluating treatment effectiveness, and processing physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Additional information: On-call duties are not required, but occasional weekend coverage may be preferred. Float: Float rotation may be required.
