About the role

We are looking for a Programmer Analyst to support the development of a centralized transportation platform for a leading organization in the transport industry. This Long-term Contract position is based in Houston, Texas, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a custom-built application that supports the movement of goods across the business. The ideal candidate will bring strong full-stack development experience and a practical approach to building scalable, user-focused solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance a custom transportation application that supports end-to-end goods movement across the organization. Build and maintain front-end features using the latest version of Angular to deliver responsive and intuitive user experiences. Develop back-end services and application logic using .NET and C# to support core business functionality. Create and optimize data solutions using Microsoft SQL and NoSQL technologies to support application performance and scalability. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective software solutions. Contribute to the architecture and ongoing improvement of internally developed platforms and reusable components. Participate in testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure the reliability and quality of delivered applications. Work within a hybrid schedule, partnering with the team in the Houston, Texas office three days per week and remotely for the remaining two days.
