Responsibilities: Including the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products. Performs manual handling tasks, including placing and positioning cylinders in workstations. May be assigned to hand and remove cylinders from the production line; some positions perform this task continuously throughout the shift, while others perform little to no cylinder-handing depending on assignment. Operates lifting devices and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. May be assigned to use a grinder/buffer on cylinders; some positions perform this task continuously throughout the shift, while others perform little to no use of the grinder/buffer. Utilize handheld tools such as handheld screw guns, drill guns, and grinders. Monitor and inspect product quality to identify visual and structural defects, utilizing required gauges and established inspection criteria. Rotates between multiple workstations based on production needs.
