In this leadership role, you'll oversee housekeeping operations, inspire and develop teams, and help ensure every guest room and public space reflects the world-class standards that define Cosmopolitan. Working in one of Las Vegas' premier luxury resorts, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards, and supporting a culture focused on service, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. THE DAY-TO-DAY:* Respond to guest concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring positive resolution* Manage departmental performance, budgets, staffing levels, and accountability processes to meet short- and long-term business objectives* Lead all Housekeeping Human Resources functions, including hiring, training, coaching, recognition, performance management, discipline, succession planning, and compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements* Mentor, coach, and develop Housekeeping Floor Managers to support performance and advancement opportunities· Conduct daily room inspections to ensure Housekeeping Floor Managers and Guest Room Attendants meet quality assurance and sanitation standards* Partner with Scheduling Attendants to ensure bidding processes are completed in accordance with policies, procedures, and timelines* Represent management in unemployment hearings, union grievances, arbitrations, and other meetings as needed THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:* Must be 21 years of age or older* Two (2) years of prior relevant experience, preferably in Housekeeping or EVS* Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a luxury resort environment preferred* Experience leading union team members and working within a collective bargaining environment preferred* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, bilingual highly preferred* Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends THE PERKS & BENEFITS:* Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)* Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups* Free meals in our Cosmopolitan employee dining room* Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties* Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts
