Professional Recruiter
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Professional Recruiter to join our growing staffing agency. This role is primarily responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for professional, administrative, technical, and leadership-level positions. During periods of reduced recruiting activity, the Professional Recruiter will support business development initiatives by identifying new client opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and contributing to revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at matching top talent with client needs, and is comfortable engaging in business development activities when recruiting demands allow.
Essential Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus): Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer negotiation, and onboarding support. Recruit for direct-hire, contract, and contract-to-hire opportunities across multiple industries and professional disciplines. Develop and maintain active talent pipelines through networking, referrals, job boards, social media, and direct sourcing. Conduct detailed candidate interviews to assess qualifications, career goals, and cultural fit. Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate the interview process. Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience. Meet or exceed placement, retention, and revenue goals.
Client Relationship Management: Partner with hiring managers and client organizations to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities. Conduct intake meetings and develop recruiting strategies for open positions. Provide market insights regarding compensation trends, talent availability, and hiring challenges. Build long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and successful placements.
Qualifications: RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within a staffing agency environment. Proven success filling professional, administrative, technical, or leadership-level positions. Strong sourcing, interviewing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Experience using ATS platforms, CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
