Overview:
Seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate unblinded activities in clinical research studies, ensuring strict adherence to protocols and separation from blinded study personnel. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a regulated research environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct unblinded clinical trial procedures in compliance with study protocols and site guidelines.
Prepare, administer, and document investigational products as outlined by protocol requirements.
Ensure strict separation between blinded and unblinded study operations at all times.
Accurately complete and maintain all required study documentation and records.
Oversee investigational product accountability and maintain associated logs.
Collaborate with investigators, pharmacy, and research staff to support study activities.
Assist with participant visits and perform protocol-required clinical procedures within RN scope.
Identify, document, and escalate protocol deviations, safety concerns, or documentation issues as needed.
Qualifications:
New York Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to follow detailed clinical protocols and procedures.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to blinding requirements.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a clinical research team.
Previous experience in clinical research, clinical trials, or research nursing is a plus.
Experience with investigational products or medication administration preferred.
