About the role
- Coordinate freelance crewing for live productions across all levels and positions
- Identify, contact, book, and confirm freelance production and technical personnel
- Maintain and continually expand ConCom’s freelance crew database and talent network
- Track crew availability, bookings, rates, travel requirements, and production information
- Prepare and distribute crew lists, confirmations, and other production information
- Communicate regularly with freelancers regarding requirements
- Work closely with ConCom’s production and operations teams to anticipate upcoming staffing needs
- Develop relationships with new freelance talent in markets around the world
- Assist with last-minute crewing changes and production needs
- Maintain accurate and organized records for multiple productions simultaneously
- Help ensure ConCom’s standards for professionalism, communication, preparation, and attention to detail are maintained on every production
- Previous television, sports, live event, or remote production experience preferred
- Knowledge of television production positions, responsibilities, and crewing requirements preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple productions, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently while remaining closely connected with the ConCom production team
- Comfortable communicating with production professionals at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Workspace, and Adobe applications
- Resourceful and able to problem-solve quickly when production requirements change
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build long-term relationships with freelance personnel
