About the role

We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant for a very well established organization in the downtown San Diego area. This position will support a variety of departments with a strong focus in recruiting and human resources. This opportunity is a long term contract position to start immediately.
Responsibilities: Build and maintain employer partnerships, manage job and internship postings, and coordinate all recruiting activities, including virtual interviews. Support career programming by helping plan and execute career fairs, panels, mentorship initiatives, workshops, and student development events. Manage career services communications, including website updates, digital content, social media, and promotional materials. Maintain accurate records, track engagement data, and support reporting across all career services functions. Represent the department at events and collaborate with leadership on program planning and operational improvements.
Qualifications: Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).Strong Excel skills, including formulas, look‑ups, data comparisons, and data manipulation. Experience with website management, digital communication tools, databases, and data analysis. Familiarity with video/audio editing tools preferred. Proficiency across major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Instagram, Tumblr).Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Willingness to learn and work with emerging AI tools.
