iVision Consulting is seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to support a large-scale Federal IT transformation initiative at a federal client. The Business Analyst will work with program leaders, consultants, technical teams, and Government stakeholders to support planning, analysis, reporting, coordination, and program execution. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career professional interested in management consulting, technology transformation, and Federal programs. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days/week onsite in Bethesda, Maryland.
What You Will Do: Support project planning, schedules, milestones, trackers, and action items. Assist with program meetings, including agendas, presentations, notes, decisions, and follow-up actions. Track risks, issues, dependencies, deliverables, and milestones. Collect, organize, and analyze information to support program planning and decision-making. Develop presentations, status reports, dashboards, analyses, and other client-facing work products. Conduct research related to technology modernization, business processes, governance, and organizational transformation. Support data analysis and visualization using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools. Assist with quality reviews of reports, presentations, plans, and other deliverables. Support transition, readiness, stakeholder coordination, and other program activities.
What You Need: 0–2 years of relevant professional experience; internships and academic project experience may be considered. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint. Ability to develop clear, professional work products and manage multiple assignments. Interest in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Nice To Have:
  • Experience or coursework in consulting, business analysis, project management, data analysis, or technology.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools, AI-enabled productivity tools, or automation platforms.
  • Experience using AI to support research, analysis, documentation, data synthesis, or development of business work products.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Service
  • Now, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to Federal agencies, healthcare, or public-sector technology programs.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications
Work Location
Hybrid: 2 days/week onsite at client location in the Bethesda, Maryland area, with remote work as permitted by the client and program requirements.
