Job Summary:
HealthSource of Ohio is seeking a full-time, remote Optometrist (OD) to join our team! HealthSource of Ohio is seeking a Doctor of Optometry for our School Based Health tele‐optometric program. Utilizing state‐of‐the‐art technology, you will deliver live vision care and ocular services remotely with the support of an in‐office technician and team. We are currently seeking Optometrists licensed in Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high‐quality optometric care and services primarily to students in school‐based locations - no nights, no weekends
- Establishing a positive Doctor/Patient relationship remotely
- Conducting all services in accordance with clinical protocols and accepted standards of careEnsuring all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations
- Utilizing all available technology to deliver high‐quality patient careEnsuring that quality of care and systems are maintained
- Being remote requires some technical proficiencies including basic computer troubleshooting, familiarity with MS Windows 10 or higher, and proficiency at using an electronic medical record system
