About the role

ITSM Solutions LLC is hiring an IT field technician for 1099 contract dispatch work in Chicago's western suburbs, based around Naperville and Aurora. This is a second seat for the area our western-suburbs workload has outgrown one technician.
The work: point-of-sale installs and swaps, network device installs and troubleshooting, structured cabling runs and terminations, CCTV and wireless access point installs, printer and kiosk service, and general smart-hands support at retail, restaurant, healthcare, and commercial sites across Naperville, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Lisle, Wheaton, Plainfield, and Oswego.
Requirements: hands-on field-service experience with POS systems, networking, or low-voltage work; your own tools, a reliable vehicle, and a smartphone; the ability to work independently from a dispatch queue and represent the company professionally on customer sites. Jobs are dispatched per ticket with confirmed site details before you roll. Pay is negotiable upwards of the rate listed for your area, $0.67/mile one-way mileage reimbursement, parts reimbursed same day, bi-weekly pay.
