About the role
Eagle Alloy is a steel foundry located in Muskegon, MI and is looking for an Executive Sales Assistant to support the Sales Department. • Order Entry consisting of contract review and sending order acknowledgements to customers. • Provide regular summaries to management of daily, weekly and monthly order intake. • Maintain costing data in operating system. • Formalize proposals from hand-written document and email to customers and sales reps. • Gather metal prices from suppliers monthly and then calculate and administer surcharge data per customer schedules. • Assist with annual margin review. • Proofread blogs and interface with web host to facilitate marketing efforts. Familiarity with social media platforms a plus. • Take minutes at designated meetings and assist with special events (coordinate lunches for customer visits, etc...). • Basic clerical duties.
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in typical office software, especially Excel (spreadsheets, pivot tables and charts/graphs), and Access. Knowledge of Odyssey (B&L) operating system is a plus. Must be dependable, self-sufficient, proactive multitasker, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
