Job Purpose:
Cerberus is seeking an Anaplan Model Builder to support our Private Equity, Credit, and Real Estate investment strategies by building and enhancing the models, analytics, and reporting tools that drive investment, portfolio management, and fundraising decisions across the firm. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner directly with investment professionals, investor relations, fundraising, finance, and reporting teams across the firm's investment platforms. As an Anaplan Model Builder, you will help design and build the models, analytics, and reporting capabilities that support investment decisions, portfolio management, fundraising activities, and firm-wide strategic initiatives. Sitting at the intersection of technology and investing, you'll work on high-impact projects that influence how data is leveraged across the organization while gaining exposure to a broad range of investment strategies and asset classes.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Solution Architects and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy scalable Anaplan solutions. Build and enhance complex models that support investment, portfolio management, fundraising, finance, and reporting functions. Work directly with investment teams and business leaders to translate business requirements into technology solutions. Design intuitive dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights and support decision-making. Configure and maintain Anaplan modules, lists, actions, processes, and application structures. Evaluate existing models and identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and user experience. Support integrations between Anaplan and enterprise systems, ensuring timely and accurate data flows. Troubleshoot production issues and partner with users to deliver effective solutions. Develop technical and business documentation to support model governance and long-term sustainability. Facilitate user training, knowledge sharing, and co-building sessions to expand adoption across the organization. Stay current on Anaplan capabilities and contribute ideas that drive innovation and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience working in FP&A, Alternative Assets (RE, PE, Credit, Etc.), or consulting Located in NYCAnaplan Level 2-3 model builder (Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner is a plus)Prior experience implementing and supporting Anaplan models as a model builder Solid understanding of multi-dimensional modelling Familiar with implementation methodologies, specifically agile Adept experience working with Microsoft Excel formulas, macros, and models Experience implementing Anaplan, Essbase, Hyperion, EPBCS, Planful, or related technologies Familiar with data integration involving the use of ETL tools and APIsExcellent written and verbal communication from a technical and functional perspective Detail oriented self-starter capable of excelling in a fast-paced environment The base salary for this position is expected to be between $130,000 and $180,000. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a robust benefits package.
