About the role
We are looking for a results driven IT Sales Consultant to join our team and drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and selling IT services and technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B technology sales, lead generation, client acquisition, and consultative selling.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, and other channels.Research and target potential clients across relevant industries and markets.Understand client business and technology requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions/services.Conduct discovery calls, presentations, product/service demonstrations, and sales meetings.Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and decision-makers.Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation, closing, and handover.Prepare proposals, quotations, statements of work, and other sales documentation.Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, activities, and follow-ups in the CRM.Collaborate with recruitment, technical, delivery, and management teams to ensure client requirements are properly addressed.Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.Track market trends, competitors, and emerging technology requirements to identify new sales opportunities.Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.2+ years of experience in IT sales, technology sales, IT services, software sales, staffing sales, or business development.Strong understanding of B2B sales and consultative selling.Proven experience with lead generation and outbound sales.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.Ability to communicate technical concepts in a simple, business-oriented manner.Experience working with CRM systems and sales tools.Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Preferred ExperienceExperience selling any of the following will be a strong advantage:IT Staffing & Staff AugmentationSoftware Development ServicesQA & Testing ServicesCloud & DevOps ServicesWeb & Mobile DevelopmentIT ConsultingManaged IT ServicesDedicated Development TeamsTechnology SolutionsKey Performance IndicatorsQualified leads generatedDiscovery meetings bookedSales opportunities createdProposal/quotation conversion rateNew clients acquiredRevenue generatedMonthly/quarterly target achievementSales pipeline valueClient retention and relationship growthWhat We OfferCompetitive salary with performance-based incentivesGrowth opportunities within sales and business developmentExposure to diverse IT technologies and solutionsCollaborative and performance-driven work environment
