About the role
To support healthcare operations, the part-time Illinois Licensed Coding Analyst will perform coding for hospital billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance while working remotely from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, or Missouri.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct coding for hospital billing to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and coding queries
Required qualifications:
Current Illinois Licensed Coding Analyst certification
Experience in hospital billing and coding processes
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
