Position Title: Senior Data Analyst
Position Duration: 6 months long (Can be extended) Position Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid-3 days onsite)
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with experience in Python and SQL, along with exposure to data platforms and visualization tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, Databricks, or Oracle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, generating actionable insights, and supporting data-driven business decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Use Python and SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights. Work with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Oracle to access, process, and manage data. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau. Perform data quality checks, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements. Prepare analytical reports and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Support data integration, transformation, and reporting activities as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and data manipulation. Experience with at least one of the following technologies: Snowflake, Tableau, Databricks, or Oracle. Knowledge of data analysis, data validation, and data quality practices. Ability to work with large datasets and translate business requirements into meaningful insights. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
