About the role

Summary: Leads capture planning and opportunity development for federal research and contracting opportunities, coordinating technical, business, and proposal teams from opportunity identification through award.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the complete capture lifecycle from qualification through contract award.
  • Develop capture plans, win strategies, and customer engagement plans.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence, price-to-win, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate teaming agreements and solution development.
  • Support storyboards, color reviews, and proposal strategy.
  • Maintain CRM data and capture documentation.
  • Use AI-enabled market research and opportunity analysis tools.
  • Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.):Bachelor's degree.4–8 years of capture, proposal, or business development experience.
  • Knowledge of FAR-based acquisitions, OTAs, BAAs, and federal procurement.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Shipley training or equivalent.
  • Experience with Huntsville federal agencies and major IDIQs.
  • Current Secret clearance
  • Capture milestones achieved on schedule.
  • Improved proposal quality and win probability.
  • Successful transition from capture to proposal.
  • Growing leadership of increasingly complex pursuits
