About the role

Materials Planner Our client, a truck and engine manufacturing company, is looking for a Materials Planner for their San Antonio, TX location.
Responsibilities: Work within a material planning team at the client San Antonio manufacturing facility where we build Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs. Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develop specifications for new contract orders. Responsible for procurement of business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems
Requirements:
  • Proficient with MS OfficeStrong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Bachelor's degree and no experienceORAt least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience
