Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Houston, Texas Department: Customer Support / Service Reports To: Customer Service Manager Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-TimeJob Summary We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The CSR will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
Resolve customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions within specified time limits.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.
Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Patience and empathy in dealing with customers.
Working Conditions:
Office-based or remote depending on company policy. May require working in shifts, including weekends or holidays.
