Job Description Job Description About the Role: Join our team as a PT Chef at Assisted Living Center Inc, where you will create delicious and nutritious meals for our 30 residents. This part-time position offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in our community, working 3-4 days per week.
Responsibilities: Prepare and cook balanced meals that cater to dietary restrictions and preferencesPlan weekly menus in collaboration with dietary staff and residentsMaintain a clean and organized kitchen environmentEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsAssist in inventory management and ordering suppliesEngage with residents to understand their meal preferencesProvide exceptional service and a warm dining experience Requirements: Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a healthcare or senior living settingKnowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelinesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFood safety certification is a plusPassion for cooking and serving the elderly community About Us: Assisted Living Center Inc has been serving the Salisbury community for over 10 years, providing a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.
