About the Opportunity:
Emerald Textiles, a Pure Star company, is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead operational performance across our Central/Northern California and Reno, NV region — a network of 4 large laundry facilities and 2 depots. You'll report directly to the CEO of Emerald Textiles, serving as an operational right hand with real influence over strategy, not just execution of someone else's plan. Healthcare laundry is a trust business — hospitals and care facilities depend on us getting it right, every shift, every delivery. This role is as much about being the face of that reliability to our customers as it is about running the plants behind it. About Emerald Textiles Emerald Textiles leads the healthcare laundry and linen processing industry with a multi-facility network built on operational excellence, safety, and service quality. What You'll Own Full operational leadership across 4 laundry facilities and 2 depots spanning Central/Northern California and Reno, NV — safety, quality, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction all roll up to you Serving as a senior point of contact for key customer relationships — understanding their needs, resolving issues proactively, and ensuring service levels that keep them confident in EmeraldA true partnership with plant General Managers, HR, Safety, Engineering, and Sales — you set the standard, they execute it Direct line to the CEO of Emerald Textiles, weighing in on strategic calls, not just reporting numbers up the chain End-to-end ownership of operational budgets, purchasing, and inventory across facilities Building and coaching a team that raises the bar — goal-setting, performance reviews, and real accountability Turning operational data into decisions that move the needle on profitability and service quality Building durable client and vendor relationships that reinforce Emerald's reputation for dependability
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Management or equivalent experience (MBA a plus)5+ years leading operations at a management level, ideally across multiple sites 2+ years specifically in industrial or commercial laundry (required)2+ years in a leadership role (required)A track record of building trust with customers, not just managing internal operations Sharp analytical instincts paired with genuinely strong people and relationship-management skills Experience managing unionized operations and working effectively within collective bargaining agreements preferred Comfortable in MS Office and comfortable switching gears fast without dropping the ball Willingness to travel across the Central/Northern California and Reno, NV region
