An established electromechanical products company is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to develop custom electrical and electronic products for OEM customers and Tier 1 suppliers.
What you'll do:
Create and modify 3D models and designs using SolidWorks or Creo.
Develop wire routing, bills of materials (BOMs), and production ready design documentation.
Take projects from initial concept through design and production.
Work directly with sales, customers, vendors, and internal teams to develop practical solutions.
Support project quoting and manage multiple projects through completion.
What we're looking for:
Experience with SolidWorks or Creo.
A background in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical product design.
Experience with BOMs, wire routing, and manufacturing-oriented design.
Exposure to OEM or automotive/off-highway project quoting.
Plastic design, injection molding, sheet metal, wire harnesses, or electrical connectors are a plus.
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant technical education.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. If you enjoy hands-on product design and seeing your work move from concept to production, let's connect.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
