Blacklock Group is partnered with a leading infrastructure investment platform with a strong track record across energy infrastructure. As the business continues to expand its investment activities, they are seeking to appoint a VP/Director within the Capital Markets team. This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced capital markets professional to play a leading role in structuring, arranging, and executing financing solutions across a diversified infrastructure portfolio.
Key responsibilities include: Leading acquisition financings, refinancings, recapitalisations, and liability management transactions. Structuring and executing bank, institutional, and private credit financings. Developing financing solutions that support investment underwriting and value creation strategies. Managing relationships with commercial banks, infrastructure lenders, institutional investors, private credit funds, and financial advisors. Supporting investment teams during acquisition processes through financing analysis and market intelligence. Overseeing debt diligence, financial modelling, covenant analysis, and transaction execution. Preparing investment committee materials and financing recommendations. Monitoring capital markets conditions and identifying opportunities to optimise portfolio financing structures.
Candidate Profile: 8+ years of relevant experience within infrastructure finance, energy investment banking, project finance, leveraged finance, debt advisory, private credit, or infrastructure investing. Demonstrated experience executing complex financings within energy, power, or infrastructure sectors. Strong understanding of project finance, acquisition finance, and structured debt products. Existing relationships across lenders, debt funds, and institutional capital providers. Excellent analytical, modelling, and negotiation capabilities. The ability to operate effectively within a dynamic, entrepreneurial investment environment.
