About the role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Accounting and Finance team for our legal client. This role will provide day-to-day administrative support in a professional, fast-paced environment and is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, handling detailed information, and following through on time-sensitive tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting and Finance team
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
  • Prepare and coordinate mailings, correspondence, and other documents
  • Conduct follow-ups with internal teams and external contacts as needed
  • Manage calendars, meetings, and scheduling
  • Assist with tracking information, documents, and deadlines
  • Handle routine administrative tasks and help keep department workflows organized
  • Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a professional services environment is required, such as a law firm, CPA/accounting firm, financial services organization, or similar professional setting 2+ years of administrative, office, or team support experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with confidential information
Ideal Background: The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a professional services organization where accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and follow-through are essential. Experience within a law firm, CPA/accounting firm, or finance organization is strongly preferred.
