About the role
- Maintain active focus on all children, providing caring, energetic attention and consistent direction.
- Communicate clearly and supportively with parents regarding children's needs, behavior, and related issues.
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly programs and activities planned for each level of childcare as defined for various programs.
- Accurately complete procedures for registration, daily sign-in/out, cleanliness, and safety.
- Clean and sanitize toys, equipment, and furniture within the childcare areas.
- Provide feedback to management about improvements that could be made regarding programming, planning, organizing, and policies.
- Work as a team member to provide a high level of service to members.
- Attend all required meetings and staff training.
- SMILE and provide a positive environment for all members, staff, and guests.
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
- What You Need For This Position
- Must enjoy working with children of all ages.
- Must have flexibility with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be CPR/Child Infant and CPR/AED certified or must obtain certification upon hire.
- Yearly Background CheckMust be able to lift moderate weight (50-60 lbs)
- Must be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for extended periods of time.
