About the role
Architect - Healthcare (Hybrid)A well-established architecture firm in the Detroit area, with more than 50 years as a staple in the community, is seeking an architect to join its healthcare team. The firm maintains a diverse portfolio across multiple sectors and is known for long-term client relationships and a collaborative studio environment. This role offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to support healthcare projects while also gaining exposure to other project types as needed. The position is well-suited for an architect who enjoys being involved across the full project lifecycle and working closely with internal teams and consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts, produce construction documents (CDs), and coordinate consultant efforts
- Support all phases of project work from Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Administration (CA) and project completion
- Coordinate RFI and submittal reviews, drawing revisions, and supplemental construction-phase documentation
- Work collaboratively within a team-oriented studio environment
- Contribute to presentations and maintain organized project documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program 5+ years of professional architectural experience
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCADExperience supporting healthcare projects is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
