Job Description:
Must have SS BlackbeltResponsibilitiesDrive and monitor implementation of Procurement activities (i.e., SAP projects, strategy implementation) at siteSupport site Working Capital initiatives; Identify and lead opportunities to reduce inventory costs and material lead-timesSupport data accuracy within site’s systemsIdentify and drive local & regional savings opportunitiesProvide regular procurement updates (financial, supply issues, risks, key project updates, etc.) to the site Site Liaison ManagerTrack and report performance metrics for key suppliersSupport site finance with budgeting and standard setting processesAssist sites with material costs for new products and work with commodity teams to establish supply chains, as neededLead and coordinate procurement strategy events and cost reduction reviewsSupport key supplier relationship managementSupport data accuracy within site’s systemsComplexityCoordinating support from multiple commodity teams and working within a matrix organizationDeveloping and managing relationships with other Procurement staff remotelyAny interruption of supply results in immediate and extended impact on revenue streamAdapting and responding to regularly changing business requirementsBalancing both strategic and operational requirementsKey AccountabilitiesAide in the Procurement related activities: Implementation of a SAP systemReducing inventory carrying costsPurchase Price Variance forecastingServe as a Procurement point of contact for the site and a site contact for ProcurementAlignment of Production Procurement activities with site prioritiesResolution of Procurement-owned supply issuesDelivery of excellent customer service to site stakeholdersBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain ManagementThorough understanding of procurement strategies, supply risks and/or supply chain managementUnderstanding of manufacturing operations and related functionsExperience influencing and managing senior stakeholdersStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience facilitating groups of individuals to create solutions, and delivering continuous improvement programsStrong Excel, Word, and Power Point capabilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working in a GMP environmentProject management experienceCustomer account management experienceExperience working in a multi-national organizationSound practical knowledge of Six and Lean Sigma, OE capabilityRelevant procurement experienceResults drivenSelf Starter
