About the role
Sustainable Solutions Corp. is seeking an experienced and passionate Recycling Operations Manager to oversee our operations and help us push forward our mission of promoting sustainability through innovative waste management practices. This role will manage the day-to-day activities of our recycling programs, optimize operational workflows, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
As a Recycling Operations Manager, you will lead a team, manage logistics, and coordinate with other departments to ensure efficiency and maximize our recycling output. The ideal candidate will have a background in recycling, waste management, or environmental sciences, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all recycling operations within the company
Develop and implement operational strategies to increase recycling efficiency
Coordinate with staff to ensure safe and compliant recycling practices
Lead and manage a team of recyclers and operational staff
Work closely with the sustainability team to support company-wide environmental goals
Monitor and report on recycling performance metrics
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
At least 5 years of experience in recycling or waste management operations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
Familiarity with industry regulations and environmental standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
