Role Description: The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Northern Virginia, VA. This role oversees daily restaurant operations, including team leadership, scheduling, and ensuring consistent, high-quality food and service standards. The General Manager is responsible for managing inventory and ordering, monitoring costs, and driving sales while maintaining brand integrity and guest satisfaction. The position also includes training and coaching team members, enforcing health and safety compliance, handling guest feedback and escalations, and supporting local marketing initiatives. The General Manager collaborates closely with the culinary and leadership teams to deliver a distinctive Taco Bamba experience tailored to the neighborhood.
Qualifications: Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, including responsibility for daily operations and team leadership. Strong skills in staff supervision, performance coaching, scheduling, and building an inclusive, high-performance culture. Ability to manage budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, and basic financial reporting. Commitment to outstanding guest service, conflict resolution, and maintaining brand standards. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations in a fast-casual or full-service environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across culinary, front-of-house, and corporate teams. Experience in fast-casual or chef-driven concepts is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required
