About the role
Overview
In this role you will own and optimize the UKG WFM environment for a global manufacturing organization, driving stabilization, additional implementations, and platform optimization. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Operations, and leadership to translate requirements into scalable UKG solutions and measure business impact. This hands-on leadership position emphasizes problem-solving, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize UKG value. You will lead end-to-end implementations, go-live activities, and ongoing optimization, delivering measurable workforce improvements.

Responsibilities Act as a hands-on UKG WFM SME and functional consultant across multiple business units Analyze UKG configurations and processes to identify improvements Translate business requirements into scalable UKG solutions and configurations Design, test, and deploy UKG functionality based on requirements Troubleshoot and root-cause system issues with sustainable fixes Evaluate UKG usage to improve performance, usability, and value Identify underutilized UKG capabilities and expand adoption Lead or participate in full lifecycle UKG WFM implementations from discovery to post go-live stabilization Gather and document requirements from stakeholders Manage priorities, timelines, issues, testing, deployments, and deliverables Coordinate UAT, issue resolution, partners, resources, and stakeholders Develop implementation plans, deployment strategies, and user guides Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization activities Partner with Operations, HR, Payroll, managers, and end users to understand workforce challenges Challenge processes and propose UKG-enabled improvements Recommend solutions aligning UKG to business objectives with measurable value Build relationships across units and act as trusted UKG advisor Track problems from discovery to optimization Analyze workforce data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities Create workforce reports, dashboards, and custom analytics Link workforce metrics to operational and financial goals Present insights and recommendations to leadership Train users on UKG functionality and improved processes Produce job aids and documentation to simplify UKG use Promote best practices and consistent UKG utilization across units Monitor new solutions for stability and alignment Provide onsite support for critical issues when needed Travel ~25% to U.S. facilities and potentially Mexico
Key requirements 5+ years in Workforce Management systems 3+ years hands-on UKG WFM experience Full lifecycle UKG WFM implementations from requirements to stabilization Strong UKG WFM configuration experience Experience translating requirements into UKG solutions Proven project/implementation management with ownership of deliverables Experience with UKG WFM, UKG Dimensions, UKG Pro Workforce Management, Kronos or related UKG solutions Experience with timekeeping, scheduling, attendance, accruals, labor management, and workforce processes Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities Ability to work with stakeholders and translate complex UKG functionality Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with reporting/dashboard experience Ability to manage competing priorities and timelines Willingness to travel ~25% (US facilities, go-live sites, possibly Mexico)Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipstakeholder managementproblem-solvinganalytical thinkingUKG WFM (UKG Dimensions, UKG Pro WFM)Kronostimekeeping
