About the role
Heat Seal Operator – Full-Time Location: Charlotte, NC 28216 Job Type: Full-Time Experience: Experience Preferred – Will Train Pay: $16 - $18 Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Heat Seal Operator. This position is responsible for operating dielectric heat-sealing/RF welding equipment to create strong, consistent seams on vinyl and fabric components.
Key Responsibilities:
Review daily work orders, production instructions, part numbers, and quantities Set up and operate dielectric heat-sealing/RF welding equipment Adjust machine settings including sealing time, pressure, power, temperature, and cycle controls Prepare, position, align, and smooth materials before sealing Use dies, electrodes, guides, and fixtures to create accurate and consistent seams Operate machinery safely and follow all required safety procedures Inspect finished seams for proper bond strength, alignment, appearance, and quality Identify and report issues such as weak seams, burn marks, material sticking, overheating, arcing, or inconsistent seals Stack and stage finished parts carefully to prevent damage Qualifications Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Excellent attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Ability to read work orders, part numbers, measurements, and basic production information Ability to read numbers and understand basic production documentation Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation and setup Ability to identify quality issues and material defects Benefits Paid vacation Paid holidays Free private parking Generous benefits package Training and development opportunities If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in learning a skilled manufacturing position, we encourage you to apply!
