About the role
Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Behavioral Health RN Manager! Relocation! Provides overall direction for and coordination of unit operations with Hospital vision, mission, goals, and department specific goals and objectives. Demonstrates awareness of changes, concepts in nursing practice and treatment modalities, and utilizes results of Performance Improvement activities to improve the quality of patient care. Communicate effectively with leadership team regarding staff, physician and systems problems or issues affecting both the department as a whole and individual services. Networks and utilize resources of other disciplines and allied health personnel to improve delivery of patient care. Demonstrates awareness of ethical/legal aspects surrounding the provision of patient care. Ensure self and unit staff functions within legal limitations. Ensures that hourly rounding is consistently and effectively completed on the unit according to plan, and that staff members are coached as necessary to achieve success.
Qualifications:
Nursing Degree 3+ years experience coming from an inpatient Behavioral Health setting Basic Life SupportAPRN-Clinical Nurse Specialist License Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Pediatric Advanced Life Support
