About the role

Service Coordinator Service Coordinator position is responsible for Day-to-Day scheduling. Managing workload and staffing requirements. Contacting and verifying customers for service availability. Ensuring all rental equipment is secured and delivered at the appropriate time and to the appropriate location. Communicating with the Field Operations Supervisor any discrepancies found in Technician documentation. Audit reports for completion and send to appropriate customer contact. Quote any immediate / emergency parts needed. Close jobs and prepare for billing in a timely manner. Enter all service work into Inspect All for repairs. Retrieve P.O.'s from customers. Reports to: Regional Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling – Maximizing output of department
  • Auditing all reports no later than the next business day
  • Confirming scheduling with end users and Field Operatives
  • Source and track supplies needed to complete work
  • Estimate / quote immediate customer needs (Urgent Service)
  • Assemble job information for billing
  • Retrieve Purchase Orders from customers
  • Assist with Compliance activities and 6S Audits
  • Qualifications1 to 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Maintains professional but friendly demeanor.
  • Possesses knowledge of overhead material handling & rigging industry.
Demonstrates: strong organizational skills. Able to read and interpret service statements and work orders. Communicates clearly and effectively. Exhibits ability to understand and interpret Overhead Crane & Hoist - Rigging terminology. Able to translate Overhead Crane & Hoist - Rigging into understandable terms for explanatory purposes. Pays close attention to detail. Exhibits ability to remain calm and polite when dealing with frustrated customers. Possesses basic computer skills and is familiar with MS Word and Excel. Manages time efficiently. Demonstrates excellent telephone and e-mail etiquette.
Physical Ability Requirements: Ability to work in an office environment sitting and standing. Visiting customer's sites that includes:
  • Climbing ladders, stairs
  • Enduring heat
  • Enduring damp dusty atmospheres
